もっとも水面下では、代表選挙に向けた党員やサポーター集めなど、様々な動きがあるのでしょう。
　新進党時代に「小沢一郎対羽田孜」という代表選挙があり、私は選挙管理委員を務めていたのですが、同じ筆跡で「イチロー」とだけ書かれた投票用紙がダンボール箱一杯に詰められて送られてきたのを鮮明に覚えています。
　選挙管理委員の一部から、筆跡鑑定の必要があるのでは、との意見も出ましたが、投票用紙はすべて焼却されたとのことで、そのままうやむやになってしまいました。
　過去のことはどうでもいいかもしれませんが、憲法に何の定めもないとはいえ、実質的に政治の中心である政党の代表選挙や幹事長など幹部人事のあり方、意思決定方法、経理の公開基準などを定めた政党法を制定する必要性が痛感されてなりません。
